Biography

Biography

Dr. Laborde was born and raised in Paris. She has specialized in literature since high school and has expended her horizons by adding foreign language pedagogy and translation and interpretation to her skills through the years. Her undergraduate degree was earned in France at the Université de Franche-Comté à Besançon. She also has two M.A. degrees, the first one in French Literature from the University of Wyoming and the second one from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in Translation. Finally, she has a PhD from the University of Iowa in French and Francophone World Literature. She is also a trained translator and interpreter.
