Biography

Biography

Danielle R. Eugene, PhD, LCSW, is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Eugene’s research focuses on the social ecology of economically disadvantaged ethnic minority (EDEM) youth. Specifically, the effects of family, school, and community systems on improving well-being outcomes (e.g., academic, social, behavioral, and economic) for EDEM youth. Her current research continues to explore how the K-12 educational environment and experiences of EDEM youth shape student outcomes and influence developmental trajectories from adolescence into emerging adulthood.
