Biography

A practicing nurse for 35 years, Dr. Cauble has spent the last 23 years in various leadership capacities in home health, hospice, and palliative care with an emphasis on wounds and ostomies. She has been teaching research and community health at UTA for the past five years. Her areas of research interests include palliative care, genomics, and nursing education. Dr. Cauble completed her dissertation in 2015, examining factors and strategies that influence and enhance persistence in nursing students. She is currently a Service Learning Fellow 2016-2017 at UTA.
