Originally from the Rust Belt region of the United States, Hannah Lebovits lived in Jerusalem, New York City, and Cleveland before moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Hannah's childhood neighborhood, the Squirrel Hill section of Pittsburgh, PA, shaped her and her views of what neighborhood life can and should be: hyper inclusive, diverse, dense, and multi-use areas with public space, greenery, and active civic participations. Over the last ten years, Hannah has dedicated her professional life to this endeavor, through governmental, nonprofit, and higher education employment. On a personal level, Hannah is always seeking out activism opportunities and often writes about urban life and subnational politics for public news sites.
