Biography

Jeanean Boyd is the Director of the RN BSN Program, Program Coordinator for the Academic Partnerships Undergraduate Nursing Programs, Coordinator for the VBSN Progran, and Lead Faculty for N3645 Transition to Professional Nursing course for the off-campus RN BSN program for the University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing and Health Innovation. Ms. Boyd originally joined the UT Arlington  faculty in 2003. In 2005, she served two years as Dean of Health Sciences and founding Director of Associate Degree Nursing at Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas. In 2007, she returned to the UT Arlington College of Nursing Faculty.

She has held administrative positions with Management 21, KPMG Peat Marwick Healthcare National Consulting Division, Corporate Vice President at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, and Director of Nursing positions at HCA Medical Center of Plano and HCA Plaza Medical Center after starting her nursing career as a Navy nurse.

Ms. Boyd has done post masters work in natural health and naturopathy. She received her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, and a Diploma RN from John Peter Smith Hospital School of Nursing in Fort Worth. Ms. Boyd is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Texas Christian University.
