Research Interests
My research interests include the caring pedagogy of distant learniners, chronic pain, health disparities and healthcare utilization among adults with chronic illnesses such as sickle cell disease [SCD]. The main aim of research activities is to provide better understanding of the unique learner needs of those who are receiving instruction from a distance. Secondly I am interested in the chronic pain trajectory among adults with SCD

Dr. Adegbola, Associate Clinical Professor, is a seasoned educator who strives to carefully craft educational experiences to enhance teaching-learning strategies for students and colleagues. Additionally as the coordinator of the undergraduate Nursing Honors College [HC], I mentor and guide HC students in completing the requirements to graduate with the Honors College designation.
