Biography

Biography

Dr. De la Fuente Iglesias is an Assistant Professor of Spanish and Translation at the University of Texas at Arlington. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She holds a B.A. (Licenciatura) in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Vigo, Spain. She has worked as a freelance translator, and she is also a Sworn Translator and Interpreter by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation.
