Biography

Biography

I am a Quaternary Geochronologist interested in the evolution of Earth's surface, at the scale of sand grains up to the scale of mountain ranges. My expertise is luminescence dating, a technique which dates when a mineral was last exposed to sunlight or geothermal heat. My research typically involves field work, topographic analysis, numerical modeling, and the application of a variety of geo- and thermo-chronometers in addition to luminescence dating.
