Biography

Biography

Before joining the University of Texas at Arlington faculty, Randy Napier logged over 25 years in management and consulting, with emphasis on enterprise resource planning software and business process redesign projects. He currently teaches courses in information systems and operations management. He also serves as the Director of UTA's Executive MBA program, and provides operational support to UTA’s Master of Science in Business Analytics program.

      (Impact: The Executive MBA Program generates positive cash flow that funds other College of Business programs and initiatives. | Engagement: On-site work to support and encourage instructors and students during 8-hour course meeting sessions on Friday and Saturday during approximately 39 weeks per year. Works with EMBA program support team, COB leadership and staff, and instructors to grow the program and maintain or improve the EMBA program's competitive position and recognition in published rankings. | Innovation: Developed sources of financial and recruiting process information in first few months of engagement with the EMBA program. This information will be used to leverage analytics techniques to measure and improve EMBA process performance.)
      Executive MBA Program
      Serves as Director of UTA’s Executive MBA Program. Summer 2018 to present. Manages Program support staff (one Recruiter and one Administrative Coordinator). Responsibilities include program curriculum development, instructor staffing, program marketing, and program financial performance.

      Serves as the SAP University Alliances Faculty Coordinator for UTA. Encourages and supports UTA faculty members in the adoption of hands-on assignments using a live SAP ERP environment in the classroom. Administers the SAP Student Recognition Award for UTA students.
