Biography

Biography

Dr. Budiman is a faculty at the UTA Information Systems and Operations Management Department. He teaches Cloud Computing and Operations Management courses. In addition to teaching, he is the director of the Center for Innovation and Digital Transformation, the graduate adviser for the Master of Science Business Analytics program, and the internship coordinator for the department. Dr. Budiman has 27 years of industry experience (Telecommunications). He started in software design, then moved to operations, management, and later business development where he was a Global Engagement Director. His experience includes Outsourcing (Managed Services), Hosted Solutions (Cloud Environment), Customer Support, Project Management, Contract negotiation, Financial Due Diligence, Consultative Workshops, Software Design. In addition to the US, he has worked in many countries such as Japan, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Indonesia, Canada. Dr. Budiman earned his doctorate degree in Economics with concentration in innovation and entrepreneurship. He also has MBA, M.Sc. (Computer Engineering), and B.Sc. (Electrical Engineering).
