      Goal: To welcome and support novice AMTE conference attendees in navigating the conference and networking with other conference attendees. AMTE is continuously growing and the goal of the ambassador program is to help all novice attendees find their niche in the mathematics teacher education community. Objectives: To have ambassadors 1. welcome new attendees and assist in finding their space or niche in mathematics teacher education. 2. assist novice attendees network with other attendees. 3. assist novice attendees be acquainted with some members/attendees before the conference and have someone to connect with during conference. Expectations: These are the minimum expected activities but an ambasssador is encouraged to consider ideas beyond these. Activities: 1. Email assigned novice prior to conference to introduce yourself and set up time to initially meet a. Consider connecting with Social Media 2. Have a meal with the novice on the first day (suggest lunch) 3. Introduce novice to others (friends, colleagues, etc.) 4. Assist novice with initially navigating the conference and use of APP
