Biography

Troy Christenson MBA, MLIS is the Resource Delivery Librarian at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) Libraries. The Resource Delivery librarian is the leader who identifies and implements products and services which enables the department to obtain and deliver products to researchers whenever and wherever they are located.

      Promotion Policy & Rubric Revisions Task Force
      Review and make recommendations on changes to the promotion policy and rubric used for librarians in the UTA libraries.
      We have tentatively decided to work on both the Rubric and Policy side-by-side, but with the Rubric as the central focus. For example, we will identify and revise problems in the Rubric, and then make the corresponding changes in the Policy.
      We also decided that the Rubric needs to be re-written from scratch. Kevin and Andy have ideas for a new rubric and will work together to come up with a draft before our next Task Force meeting.
      Martin will create a team in MS Teams for this Task Force, and will schedule our next meeting for mid-June.
      Troy will identify other tasks to help get the work organized and started.
