Biography

I enjoy sharing my diverse experiences in advanced practice, management, and professional organizations with students that embrace the challenge of learning to promote nursing practice excellence.  As a clinical nurse specialist and nurse practitioner, my clinical specialty areas are emergency care, trauma, and interventional cardiology. The majority of my clinical positions have been in large urban hospitals. I have been teaching at UTA in part time and full time positions 1981.

    I enjoy sharing my diverse experiences in advanced practice, management, and professional organizations with students that embrace the challenge of learning to promote nursing practice excellence.  As a clinical nurse specialist and nurse practitioner, my clinical specialty areas are emergency care, trauma, and interventional cardiology.  Education is my passion, and I am constantly trying to find new methods to enhance students’ learning processes.  I have been teaching at UTA in part time and full time positions 1981.
